We build software for physical operations. The story behind BatchNepal and ERPDesktop.

Most modern software is designed for the comfort of high-speed, always-on offices. But the physical world—where businesses operate warehouses, retail branches, and local factories—is different. It requires dealing with spotty internet, offline limits, and local USB hardware. ERPDesktop was built because we believe the cloud shouldn't stop at the USB port.

We are BatchNepal. In 2025, we started in Kathmandu as an engineering team solving a single, stubborn problem: a client needed their cloud ERP to communicate securely with biometric attendance hardware at local branches. As we solved the physical hurdles of connecting hardware to web-based systems, we realized we weren't alone. That single integration became a product, and that product grew into ERPDesktop.

01

Reliability is Respect

Web systems are elegant, but fragile in the physical world. If the network drops, a retail checkout or a warehouse log shouldn't freeze. We build local-first software because keeping a business running offline is a form of operational respect.

02

Tackling the Unsexy

Writing web APIs is clean. Writing raw hardware drivers for legacy USB thermal printers and fingerprint scanners is messy, unsexy, and incredibly hard. We run toward these messy physical problems because that's where the real friction lies.

03

High-Agency Systems

The people who manage IT networks deserve tools that respect their time. Managing dozens of physical branch terminals individually is a recipe for burnout. We design systems that give admins absolute company-wide control from a single seat.

04

Pragmatic & Independent

We are a self-funded, highly independent team of engineers based in Nepal. We don't build to chase venture trends or burn capital. We build lightweight, robust software designed to run stably for decades, not months.
